Surrey Mark Masons are holding an exciting festival culminating in 2014 which is in support of the Surrey Air Ambulance Service and CHASE, the Children’s Hospice. Through a series of sponsored family events and charitable giving organised by Lodges throughout the County, it is hoped to raise significant sums for the purchase of much needed equipment and facilities for these worthy causes.

In addition to Provincial events supported by the Provincial Grand Master and his team, Lodges themselves are being encouraged to organise a series of events. BBQs, swimathons, quiz nights and even a sponsored slim are just a few of the ideas circulating. No doubt the talent and initiative of the members will come up with ever more innovative ways to join in. Underpinning these activities will be the generosity of individual members who have continually demonstrated their willingness to donate regularly. The most effective way to do this, of course, is through Regular Payment Promises. A Relief Chest has been established with Mark Grand Charity to ensure that the Gift Aid scheme can be used to boost receipts still further.

Stamp Your Mark Pin
You have probably seen proudly worn by some of the Mark Brethren of Surrey a Stamp your Mark Lapel Pin. This pin will be sent to you free of charge when you complete a Gift Aid Form to the 2014 Festival.

We would be pleased if you would wear your pin at all your Mark and Royal Ark meetings and other events held within the Province of Surrey until the completion of the Festival. This pin is a thank you from the Province for your support to the Festival.

An organising Committee, chaired by Assistant Provincial Grand Master W Bro David Willmott, has been established to coordinate the Festival. Other Committee members are:
